Junior Revenue Analyst - 02/08/18

Main purpose of job Maximize revenues and profits of Thon Brussels and Rotterdam hotels’ portfolio Responsibilities / Tasks: •Maximize overall hotels revenue through development and implementation of effective transient/group inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand forecasts. •Implement selling strategies and inventory restrictions in all channels that capture the optimal revenue producing business for all hotels. •Lead the development, implementation and measurement of all Revenue Management related activities. Ensure property execution of outstanding customer service, reservation sales process effectiveness, adherence to policies and development of strategies that optimize revenue captured from existing demand. •Identifies future revenue opportunities and effectively communicates strategies to the sales organization. •Responsible for the analysis and control of revenue, profit and demand associated with hotels rooms and space inventory in a given cluster. Position prepares forecasts, budgets, weekly and daily projections and analyses the progress of each. Develops and/or uses analytical tools and systems to maximize revenues and profit. Position critiques sales strategy effectiveness and prepares historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities. •Prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly and “ad hoc” meeting on behalf of the Revenue Management department. •Using the Demand Tracking Analysis information, create accurate future unconstrained demand forecasts and capacity forecasts. When demand is projected to exceed capacity, implement appropriate inventory restrictions to capture optimal revenue customers (based on arrival date, average rate and length of stay). •This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked to perform from time to time. •Perform any other reasonable request related to the department

Vereiste vaardigheden:		•Demonstrated ability to manipulate large amounts of data and translate into meaningful analysis through the use of Excel or Access and/or other spreadsheet and database query tools. •Knowledge of financial analysis, quantitative analysis and statistical tools highly desirable. •Experience or studies in Hospitality industry. •High School or equivalent education highly recommended. Bachelor's Degree preferred. •Fluent English and preferred good French and/or Dutch knowledge •Knowledge of the following company tools and systems is a plus: Opera PMS, S&C, ORS,PMI MyFidelio/OCM and OXI Synxis CRS
