F&B Service Attendant - 05/02/24

What’s the job? Restaurant memories come from many places. The sights, sounds, scents and, most importantly; the service. As an F&B Service Attendant-Waiter, you’ll welcome our guests, recommend food and drink and help keep service on-track and up to standard. By tailoring each guest’s experience to their unique tastes, you’ll create memories as delightful as the dishes. Your day-to-day · To serve Food & Beverage to guests in an established performance and productivity standards in any of the Food and Beverage outlets. · Provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Crowne Plaza standards policies & procedures in order to provide a memorable experience for every guest. · To be able to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which do not distinctly differ in nature from the original assigned work. · To be able to handle pressure, meet business demand and guest service needs. · To report for duty punctually, looking smart – wearing your uniform with pride. · To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and stick to the hotel department grooming standards. · To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel. · To perform opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work as assigned. · To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests. · To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food & Beverage combinations and upsell alternatives. · To ensure that the Place of Work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times. · Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any safety/service incident to the supervisor or manager on duty · To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage. · To perform all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work to the standard set. · To maintain a good working relationship with your colleagues, and all other departments. · To attend and actively participate in trainings assigned to you either by your manager or by the Hr department. · To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned. · To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub departments of the Food & Beverage Division as assigned.
